My hot viewing tip. Even if the light of your life has gone away for the weekend and you have elected to veg out on the sofa with a good bottle of wine, a hand-crafted meal and a rented DVD, do not be tempted by "Club Vampyre".

I know. Like me you doubtless assumed that it was a late work by Bertolucci but, trust me - against all the odds - it ain't. Despite the title, you will find it is mainly about a club where vampires hang out. Sometimes literally. In a real and physical way.

But it's not as good as I have made it sound.
