Blimey, what a week it's been and 'tis only Tuesday!

The weekend was spent chez rougeforever and mrhig eating barbequed foodstuffs that were both plentiful and delicious. At some point during the evening I fear I may have inadvertently taken a glass of wine, for - as the night wore on - I began to feel a little "giggly". Even though my memory is hazy, I am sure that I conducted myself in a sophisticated and suave manner at all times, despite the high jinks all around.

Anyway, moving swiftly on.... *cough*...

It was a delightful weekend all in all. Apart from the rumbustiousness of the party, we stayed at the Hotel du Vin up Birmingham way and very nice it was too. A shower room big enough to swing a tiger, should the need arise. On Sunday we met up again and went to Stratford for a wander around and a pizza (very sustaining things pizzas) and then on to Henley in Arden for some ice cream. I had ginger and lime. It was quite good.

Yesterday I struggled with drafting a paper on collaborative tools (oo-er, sounds a bit er... well..dull, really). Odd that writing a paper about collaboration should be such a solitary task, but that's life...

Tonight I finally managed to book the last hotel for the hols. Hurrah!!! All I need now is a jet-pack and we'll be set!
