Apr. 9th, 2004 02:27 pmI am having a busy day today which has - thankfully - also involved driving too fast in the LRC with the top down listening to - of all things - Led Zepplin (don't ask me why - it was that or John Lee Hooker and it isn't bluesy sort of day).
I got up late-ish, having lazed in bed for a bit, loaded the dishwasher, put on some washing, did the food shopping, T-Cut the car and waxed the car.
Am now sweaty but feeling as if I have done something. I have been in the doldrums a bit for the last week or so - beset my a cold that wouldn;t quite turn in to a cold, lots of stuff going on at work and the stuff going on at home. It has been a draining couple of months - but a bit of sunshine and a bank holiday is just what the doctor ordered.
Em is down in Devon visiting her parents - back this evening some time. I shall cook spag bol. Hurrah!
