Apr. 11th, 2004 07:24 pmTo Greenwich today for a most unsatisfactory All Day breakfast event. Let's face it, it's not hard to fry up eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms and garnish said assemblage with baked beans and toast and furnish one's paying customers with a tasty treat - especially when accompanied by a pot of Proper English tea (grown in Surrey, I expect). This place failed however... I won't go on about it (I shall not mention the par cooked bacon - the eggs raw on top but solid underneath, the toast as flaccid as errrr.... a flaccid thing)....nor shall I go back there again.
Wandered around Greenwich Park with Em and took some photos. This afternoon decided to actually print them out as black and white. Now why haven't I thought of doing that before? I have had a digital camera for ages and taken some good photos, but only ever got them printed as colour snaps through Fotango. The prints sit in a draw somewhere and are looked at periodically - usually when I feel maudlin.
But this afternoon I printed a whole bunch of 'em out in glorious black and white. As chance would have it there was a bunch of A4 size frames that were bought yonks ago and never used. How clever of Ikea to produce A4 frames! So now my bedroom is festooned with a range of lovely black and white photos and I feel pleased and happy.
Hurrah!
