Jul. 12th, 2004 11:21 amI was attacked by a bee on Saturday. I was strolling unwisely about the garden enjoying my early morning cigarette, forgetting that the "lawn" is an attractive mat of flowering clover. I trod on a bee and it bit me on the sole of my foot, before it flew off grumpily.
I am going to France for me holidays and have been digging out my tent and associated paraphenalia. The tent - unused for four or five years - is in surprisingly good shape, although it does need a good dousing in Fabsil to refresh its waterproofed qualities.
I have bought an self-inflating sleep mat thingy and shall be borrowing
etcher's sleeping bag.
It will be interesting to see whether there is room for all this stuff, clothes and me in an MX-5 :-)
