Oct. 20th, 2004 12:28 pmDrowning in the hideous combination of lots of work and Hamlet - now about halfway through its run of performances. I'm delighted to report that it has been received with loud applause - to the extent that on two separate occasions members of the audience have fetched up at the dressing room door, weeping and bereft, to thank the company for the performance. The less emotionally delicate have expressed warm approval of the show in the bar afterwards :-)
It is very satisfying to be involved in such a quality show. Of course, the whole play is held together by Hamlet (as you'd expect) and he does a magnificent job of portraying uncertainty, grief, anger, vulnerability etc etc. - he is a joy to watch.
Ayway - I'd better stop bleating on about this :-) Only four more performances to go.... what the devil will I do with my evenings when it's over???
