etcher for a curry supper and some DVD watching last night. First time I've ventured out of the house for two days - not because of Bomb Dread, I hasten to add, but because of The Cold in the Head.
It's bizarre how you think you've got better and then you do something as undemanding as walk to the local Blockbuster shop and suddenly find that you need to have a sit down and a mug of beef tea, while someone mops your brow with a damp flannel. Anyway...
The curry was good, the DVD was good (Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez in Shall We Dance?) and the company was good.
Today I must try to find a dining room table. I'm off to France at the end of July and my mother will be house/cat sitting for a week and I have a suspicion that she may want a table about the place.
