Two performances and a preview night (with audience) and things are looking good :-) This may be the best thing I have ever done.... certainly it's one of the most rewarding shows I've been in. It's a real ensemble piece - some characters have more words than others, but everyone is "there" the whole time. It also makes it one of the most tiring plays I have done - everyone is on stage the whole time and - speaking or not - is acting for the entire show...

That makes it feel very real, and that seems to be being communicated to the audiences. During the final scene you can almost hear the audience shift to the edge of their seats, and that is a very good sound to hear :-)

It will be interesting to see if the ajudicator feels the same way - the play is entered into the amateur awards thingy, and we are up before the judges on Tuesday. I actually don't really care what they say - it *feels* like a good show and the reactions from the audiences have been very gratifying... that's what counts.

Twelve Angry Men? Definitely.
Twelve Happy Men? Oh yes - that too!
