Off to France..

Bonjour and so forth. I'm off to France in about two hours and I feel very unprepared. Normally this would not be a concern, but on this trip I am going with Suzanne and The Girls (op. cit.) I have never been away with 12 year old twins and I suspect that Planning is needed. It is likely to be a different sort of holiday to my usual "where shall I go today?" type trip, but I am looking forward to it. I've even booked most of the hotels.

We're heading down to the north of Provence (near Die) in a fairly leisurely way. At Die we rendez-vous with Suzanne's sister and her family for a couple of nights before heading home via Argentat and the Dordogne.

I must learn a new mantra: "12 year old girls don't enjoy spending 8 hours a day meandering through rural France in the car" - or maybe they do...? Time will tell.
