My fridge is not well. It has never been a very good fridge but over the past few days I have noticed that stuff I take out of it isn't actually cold. So it's not so much a fridge as a cupboard.
I used my supa-dupa meat thermometer to check the temperature. 13 degrees centigrade seems a bit high for a fridge, doncha think? Oddly, the freezer is working fine - and it's all the same unit. I have tonight defrosted the freezer, emptied the fridge of its rather warm contents and switched it back on.
I tried to buy a new fridge this morning before vanishing off to me Mum's - but nothing could be delivered until next week, and I shall be back at work then. I shall see if defrosting has Worked Magic tomorrow, and if not track down someone who actually keeps fridges in stock, rather than in a warehouse in Latvia.
